Village scene. The little blue vehicle passed me on the road way and were so surprised he nearly lost control. The tea pickers were sitting in the back and soon went to work picking the tea growing on the side of the hill.

Out of the way place
Our university two day trip took us to places such as Tianmu Mountain, Qingshan Lake, and Linan which is in the north west area of Zhejiang province, not far from Hangzhou.
The area is known for its bamboo. The place that we stayed at was certainly "off the beaten track" and quite remote, and I think we'd be some of the first "foreigners" to visit the area, judging the look of surprise on the faces of the locals as I walked along the roadway!
There were many bamboo groves, and tea growing on the side of the hills. It is a quiet pretty place, well away from the noisy cities. The only sound is that of the rushing water, and the birds and the occasional noisy vehicle plying its way along the road.
